Do you spend many hours on your feet throughout the day?
Do your feet hurt at the end of the day day after day?
In today’s post, we’ll look at why you have tired feet and how you can improve your quality of life with insoles for tired feet.
The footprint
Walking is an action we do every day.
Working is also an action that, fortunately, most adults can perform.
As you well know, there are jobs that are performed sitting, others that are performed standing, others in which you can spend many hours in the same position while standing or sitting, and other jobs in which you can alternate both mobility and periods of rest or rest.
Especially those jobs in which we stand for many hours in the same position, or those that require walking throughout the day, are the ones in which our feet will suffer the most.
When we walk, walk or do any sport, we transmit all the weight of our body to our feet, in the tread.
This footprint is conditioned by:
- The footwear we wear
- The anatomy and shape of our feet
- The weight of our body
Footwear
Footwear influences the way we walk or move, and therefore influences the way our weight is distributed in one way or another on the sole of the foot.
Some shoes are comfortable, others less so, some are more rigid, others more flexible, with rubber soles or with more rigid and robust materials.
And there are shoes that grip the foot and give you good support, and others that are not so good.
As you probably know, fashion and proper footwear are not always compatible, but we have to prioritize our health before the fact of wearing more or less beautiful shoes, or whether or not they are fashionable this season.
Our recommendation is to always wear shoes that are wide enough, supportive and grippy.
Obviously it also has to be comfortable, but with which your footprint is as correct as possible.
It should provide stability and good cushioning.
The anatomy and shape of our feet
The anatomy and shape of our feet is something we are not going to change, unless we have a severe deformity and have to go through a surgical process.
But in the best of cases, we cannot modify the shape of our feet.
There are mainly cavus, flat, or normal feet; that is, with a bridge, but without an excessive bridge.
The stride of a person with flat feet is different from the stride of a person who does not have flat feet.
The same happens with cavus feet.
In this case, a cavus foot has an excessive bridge, which causes a particular way of distributing the weight of our body in the footprint.
The weight of our body
The weight of our body influences many aspects, including the health of our feet.
Excessive weight is counterproductive because it causes multiple diseases, and makes our feet and knees have to bear more weight when walking, causing other pathologies in the feet as they modify the way in which our weight is distributed on the sole of the foot.
These 3 aspects define our footprint, the way we walk, and therefore, the good or bad use we make of our feet when we walk.
These points, added to the physical activity that we have to perform in our day to day, will mean that at the end of the day our feet will be more or less tired, and that we can perform our daily activity with more or less foot pain.
What can we do to avoid tired feet?
With excess weight we can do nothing, except lose it 😉
With the shape and anatomy of our feet, we can do nothing to change them, but we do have resources to adapt the footwear we use to the shape of our feet.
And this adaptation can be done both with a selection of appropriate footwear, as well as with the use of insoles for tired feet.
On the footwear we can choose shape, composition and materials, but not how the insole of the shoe itself is molded.
For this, we have available in the market, a multitude of insoles that will help us to correctly distribute the weight of our body in the tread. This will notably improve pain in the sole of the foot, especially in all those people who spend all day standing in the same position, or those who perform a strong and constant physical activity in their workplace.
Insole for tired feet
As mentioned above, we have flat, cavus, or normal feet.
Not all insoles for tired feet are suitable for all types of feet.
Normally the flat foot needs some bridge and the standard insoles for tired feet don’t give it.
Or the cavus cannot go with an insole that is excessively flat.
If we go to the orthopedist, he will make us an Insole that adapts to the shape of our foot, but it will not be an Insole for tired feet, since the materials used in orthopedics for the realization of custom-made Insole, do not usually cover the need for comfort that our feet also have.
For this reason, at Smou we have designed an Insole for tired feet that is compatible with any foot shape: cavus, flat or normal.
How have we been able to develop Insole for tired feet that are compatible with all foot shapes?
Due to its design, development and use of materials, it provides the necessary bridge that the cavus foot needs, without being excessive for a flat foot.
It has a soft part that helps in the impact with the metatarsals, and also a removable piece in the heel, with which you will get a proper discharge in the area. Whether you have a heel spur or not.
If you have a heel spur, you can remove the heel piece, leaving the heel free, without it touching the insole.
And if you do not have a spur, the materials of the piece ensure adequate relief in the area.
Smou insoles for tired feet have been designed after years in orthopedic practice, because 90% of the orthopedic insoles we made followed the same guidelines.
We decided to make a single product that would be effective for all 3 types of feet, and we tested it for several years in the office before launching it on the market.
With proper footwear and correct footing, you will largely eliminate the pain caused by tired feet. And we want to help you achieve this with Insole for tired feet suitable for all types of feet.
Whatever the shape of your foot, Smou helps you to correctly distribute the weight of your body when walking and to ensure that your stride is correct, eliminating current pain and future pathologies.
